this seems to be a prety regular problem with most RA-" celicas that i see getting around these days that the headlights closest to the guards work, but the inside pair do not. Surely someone has had this problem and got it fixed. If so, i'm looking for a solution!
thanks

are any of your bulbs blown (serious) i have twin headlights and one of the bulbs was blown on the bumper lights i replaced it and it sorted out my lights.
but on the topic of lights when i turn my lights on one works the other doesnt BUT if i give it a gentle kick/punch it comes on i have to do this every time i put my lights on the connectors arent loose, its got me?
the inside lights are your high beams arent they? so do your high beams not work or?

Yes, the inside lights are high beams only; they're not supposed to work when the low beams are on.

to get all 4 headlights working on low beam you would have to do a headlight conversion, converting all 4 headlights to a semi-sealed H4 type.

Why stop at 6 lights?
We've got eight and country driving has never been better.
Yeah, the two middle lights are high beams. The previous owner of my bro's celica totally rewired the lights and did some odd things, so my brother rewired them again to get them working the way that he wanted, it is not that hard to get the lights doing what you want them too.

yeah i used to do that and replaced my globe and it was fine.
i was just talkin to a mate the other day about redoing the lights, as my normal lights are piss poor and i could do with some more high beam, was thinking of using some new dual beam (sorry dunno technical name) on the outside lights and some really bright lights in the place of the high beams. was also thinking of changing the parkers but i think 4 high beam lights would be enough

you have to make sure of the legalities of it tho. You're only allowed certain wattages for park/low/high

yeah i don't intend to have any excess wattages, but my normal lights are just incredibly under par
is there a max wattage for high beams? is this any different from the max wattage of driving lights? cos couldn't you just have high/low in the normal spot then call the extra set driving lights?

I redid the wiring for mine and thought why stop there fitted new high beams which were aircraft landing lights (easy to get at the time) this was a problem because the battery and alternator couldnt keep up as the stereo dropped out on the highway, so i rebuilt the alternator and now have a winner. People dont dare flash me anymore cause they tend to go blind
