mmmm what's this donk from, what size is it, How similaer to 5K etc. Would it easily fit a car with a 3K.

the 7K-E is from the current toyota townace SBV (courier van like thing)- its a 1.8.
theory is it, *should* using your mounts go in the same spot as any series K motor.

The current model Townace SBV uses the 7K, which is the carbied version. It develops 55kw of power and 142Nm of torque. The toque is the biggest difference between it and lesser K series engines and is developed quite low in the rev range, hence its use in a van. It is supposed to be quite an easy conversion with the only mod I can think of being the fitment of an electric fuel pump. I am planning to fit one to my KE55 fastback when I eventually find one.

I stand corrected Grega. It would appear that Toyota has made some running changes to the Townace since I did my initial research. It appears that as of Oct last year, all Townaces have efi and power steering as standard on auto models.
