just after some specs for diff width. They are to go into a ke 55 with a 2tg. how will the stocker 55 diff cope? I heard they are stronger than others (has a BW diff).
If it is a toyota diff, it will have the diff (transaxle) code on the compliance plate. I don't think any of the BW diffs are noted on the compliance plates. If you tell us what the code is, we can help you a bit more with the strength.
I think Toyota diffs have the bolts on the front of the diff and BW have them on the back.
If it is a BW diff, getting a LSD for it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
the car is a ke 55 1980 and im orginising the conversion for him i havent actually looked under the car i just assumed that being a later corolla that it had the bw. ill have a look in the next couple of days and check the details out
