ENGLISH MOTHERF*CKER, DO YOU SPEAK IT???
you could do this, but it is a waste of time, as wou would have to change quite a few things and it would be a bitch to get working. also, you would have a weak "hot" motor, that is your engine would not be strong enough to cope with the extra load put on it by the extra power it can make.
also, the timing will give you headaches as the 4AGE uses electronic ignition, and you can't use your 4ac dizzy on it.
short answer, no.
engine swap is a better idea (i won't mention a car swap, but that wouldnt be a bad idea if you want more power)
judging by your level of knowledge (no offence here at all)
i would allow 4-5 grand???
for the conversion including half cut, paying a workshop to do it all
i'm sure someone else can give you a better estimate on cost.

4-5 grand is exactly what a workshop quoted me.

Course it's doable - but do you want to be bothered when you're going to end up with a weaker, low comp engine? Unless you have ALL the parts lying round and can do it all yourself, it's not exactly going to be worth doing

striaght up i doing this cause i like the ae-82 sedan
my choice in cars is myn..n plus it would be a perfect sleeper to rock up against the geminis n commies in this area..
and someone just mentioned to swap heads..
i gonna be doing a 4age 20 valve conversion on it anyway.
n while i savin the money it would be enough to kill the engine
n use as a thrash..
but back to the point..i gonna have one tuffthe reson i asked the question was just so i could get some answers...plus the en sedan.
i know watt i gonna do..i got the whole boot set up n desgined n already to go in first day i get the car.
i know watt i gonna do to the interior..i know where i can source some 16's from..i got it all sussed out..
but it was just a query..yeah i dont know much about the engines..but oh well.
n my english might not have been the best..well after a 8 hour shift n a few scotches your english wouldnt be the best either..(few=15)
well catch ya around
