I've heard one or 2 rumours that urethane bushes squeak and squeal unless given constant attention.
mind you, these rumours came from whining upper class lexus owners
so Im wondering what other peoples experiences are with them

My RA23 has had all urethane bushes for at least 7 or 8 years, and they don't squeak or squeal or make any other unusual noises. The trick is to lube them to buggery on install.
Remember, you can never use too much lube.

Hmmmm a post which has lube as a major topic and an avatar of good ol' JIZZMASTERZERO himself Ron Jeremy....... what is toymods comming to?
As for the urathane bushings..... I have heard a few WRX owners getting upgraded swaybars and such and getting heaps of squeaking while others can drive through water and they still don't squeak even though the lube has looked like it has completely been washed away??
This is quite strange.... as this phenomenon also happens to cars (WRX's) that have had the exact same components fitted by the same company even person..... so their routine of lubein' up their parts woould not vary greaty I would imagine.

norbie - what sort of lube do you use? (water based for less irritation, I know )
coz if you had no troubles I'll probably just use the same and hope
quite a few of my bushes are pretty shagged, now that Im looking at them, so Ill definitly swap for urethane

When I bought my urethane bushes they came with Special Stuff (tm) for lubrication purposes. So i just used copious quantities of that.
