I once broke my rear shock absorber and I mean it was in two pieces. This was caused by "minor" pot hole in road.

Broke an axel from the wheel hub, not inside the dif. You could see where the axle had been nicked with an angle grinder!
Broke the welds of the little dust cover that goes over the universal joint on the tail shaft. It was sliding up and down the tail shaft making the worst noise and it took us a good week to figure out what it was.

i bent the front drivers side stub axle about 10 - 15 degrees upwards once back in my p plater days.

I've broken the mount (in my first celica) of the coil which snapped at the base leaving the to bolts on the base and the base in place but the coil swung down hit the fan did a few laps around the engine bay before falling out of the engine bay bouncing along the road and smashing my brothers front grill who was following.

i had a spigot bearing cease on a car i used to have, realy good fun realising that the engine and gearbox didnt want to come apart (even with a hydraulic porta-power), eventually cut a big ugly hole in the bell housing and then un-did the pressure plate, spigot beraring was fused to the input drive shaft, but came loose from fly wheel, a few mnutes with a grinder and a new $5 bearing fixed all,
why is it that this type of thing only happens in two places,either in the middle of the city during peak hour, or in the middle of nowhere.

Blown motor good enough ?
1996 Vienta V6... 12 holes in the block, 2 conrods sheared right off, and the block ending up in 3 pieces... all at 60,000km doing 70km/h in 3rd gear. Go figure 
Not my finest hour.

Whole axle came out in one of my corollas before i owned it wheel rolled down the road with the axle attached, the car then did a flip and ended up on its roof spinning across a busy intersection.

thats a bit to much info but you get that especially with u
one of my mates gromit brother did that the other day polled himself on his bike and some how split that erm yeah u know what i mean went to the hospital and they jammed a needle down his eye (im not talking about the ones in his head) all i can say is OWWWWWWW that makes me cringe
not as bad as a guy i know who stacked it on his dirtbike went over the handle bars SNAPED the brake lever with his nut sack ripped it open and one of his nutz was hangin out he had to walk about 1/2k home holding his nut in one hand and pushing his bike with the other he got home and had all sand and shit so what do you think his mum did 1 word DETOL uhhhhwww he went to the hospital got a needle in his nut got stiched up and went home
 im glad i wasnt them

Oh the stories of dodgy broken things I could tell you all. It's enough to give you nightmares!
A few years ago the left castor rod on the Supra came off completely... the bracket which attached it to the chassis had rusted right though and just fell apart. The wheel was jammed up against the back of the wheelarch, looked pretty weird! I got a friend of mine to weld it up temporarily to get me home. I had every intention of getting a new bracket as soon as possible, but it just never happened. The dodgy welded-up bracket is still there.

I broke my nose face planting off a jump on my mountain bike in the blue mountains, and..
... I am now facing two knee reconstructions in the same year beacause the docter stuffed/graft didn't take on the first one March past.
oh my car? ain't broken nothin' much.. Blew up a Camira the day I registered it after completely respraying the interior and exterior like ferrari red!

i broke some stairs once
i'd had my car for about a week, i was 15 and i was the best driver out there, untill i reversed into our front stairs
thankfully the car was ok

I broke a mates windscreen,
I was in the passenger seat and there was a mozzie buzzing around.. so i gently and i mean really gently tapped it on the glass and cracked the whole thing..
Most expensive mozzie ive ever squashed.. cost me 400 bux...
so now when i see mozzies.. look the fuck out.. cause im swinging every which way from sunday!!

yeah i did the same as norbie, broke the left front caster rod bolts when i hit a tyre in a kanacross.
didn't know anything was wrong until a friend said "that left front wheel looks a little strange"

hmmm....... prolly breaking the secret compartments in the rear of my car -under the armrests.
either that or every bolt that holds the thing my hatch latches onto.
i systematically tightened them all up too tight, and broke all 3 in sucession. i had to go and get them drilled out

Broke a clutch pedal, sitting at the red light, just put the V8 ra in gear and the pedal snaped off at the hinge,  lunched the car across the intersection, some how missed all the cars and then had to drive it home without a clutch.
Dam heavy race clutchs
