I thought that toyota still had plenty of NOS for the TA22. If this is not the case I think I will keep my spare parking lights!!!!

Just to worry all the TA22 owners !
I actually get alot of stuff brought in from Japan. (It helps to have a parts catalogue)
My recent order for Front Parker lenses (white and Orange) plus my chasing of CLearin GT style indicator lenses came back dead empty ! Not one single bloody lense.
You can still get hte orange indicator lenses localy tho
Justin I do actually have 2 "NEW" RH Parker lenses but it would involve an arm and a leg to get me to part with them. If you really get stuck let me know but there still should be second hand stuff around. I've prolly got that there too actually !

Your talkin about the lenses up near the bonnet and not the side ones? If so do you have a part number? and average price?

All I'm after is a micky mouse clear park light lens (right hand side under the bumper for a 1973 TA22) Forget about the other parts, how much will one set me back? I'll probably pick one up when I'm in Tassy in November with pocket change if NSW is to expensive. This whole parts issue is becoming a bloody drama, no wonder I don't drive it anymore.

no kidding, worse thing is that everyone knows parts are getting rare so they'll charge you your limbs for stupid little parts if they are still in good nick!! best bet is to get in contact with someone from the US or Japan and get them sent here, i got mine off a guy in the US who gave them to me when he posted my EFI computer. If someone nicked them, or if i swipped my front corner off in a crash i would be spewing!!
i think the clear lenses only suit white celicas anyway

i think i may have a pair of the parker lenses for a ta22
they were off one of my spares cars ..
I also know of another ta22 in a boneyard near here that has them i think
Mind u those parts are not new - but im PRETTY sure they are still ok - not cracked - and are still hooked up to the whole unit ( ie the globes , wiring , etc (
email me if you want me to have a look for them - ill be happy to see if i can track them down for you
