I heard that in QLD there will soon be no lead free super sold anymore, instead you have to buy unleaded and stick additives in your tank. I have an RA60 and was wondering if anyone has tried using other fuels please let me know, the engine is a 21Rc, carby model.

The 21R-C will run on unleaded just fine. You may want to use premium though. Some fuel additives once in a while is good for peace of mind.

	my experiences with different fuel:

mobil synergy 8000: not bad, don't use it too much tho

Caltex Vortex: more volitile = easier to start. not too good for engine my many different accounts

Shell Optimax: good, but my car is a bitch to start on the cold mornings. more power, at the cost of cold starts.

BP Ultimate: by far the bast all round. 1/10th sulfur = better burn, less pollution. 1/2 benzines = less pollution. the better burn makes cold starts easier.

to all tanks i add recomended amount of "Flashlube" (1mL to 1L)
cost for this is about $20/L, and allows for 1000L of fuel, or about 10 000km of driving (cost aka SFA!!)

works for me!

Cheers

Flashlube is great if you have an old Ford or Holden or similar POS with cast iron heads. For practically any Jap engine it's a complete waste of money - they were designed for unleaded fuel in the first place.
