Exhaust manifold bolts.

This is a picture of my exhaust manifold
Now where the two green arrows are on the ears of the manifold , should there be some bolts , noting this is a 4afe engine.
I havent been able to tell if there is a thread behind the holes into the block but working on many cars has told me that there should be some there.

yes there should be studs in both.
poke a wire down hols to see how deep they are (measure depth against manifold) is possible someone's broken the studs and not removed/fixed them.
you can buy studs/bolts from any decent auto parts store

Haw , clever idea , there does appear to be a recess for a stud or bolt to go in there , now I just need to track some down.
Any stores to recommend would be great.

go to toyota wreckers...they will prolly give you them. they should be 14mm bolts.
