looking for right hand driver parts Sat, 25 October 2003 13:57 Go to next message
Hi! My name is Andy. I'm from Sacramento, California. New to this board but not new to Celica's.
I want to convert my car to Right Hand Driver, are LHD cars popular where most of the members here are from? If it is I can trade you parts. If not, I am willing to pay for your time and parts you send me. I need a manual rack from a corolla 84-88 rwd, a dash pad & dash pad support and instrument cluster from a 71-75 celica. I should be able to modify the rest. Please let me know if you could help.

Browndog, I understand you guys have RHD cars. That's what I want to convert to, mine is a LHD. It's cheaper and less of a headache than trying to import one over.

Well we can probably help you with getting the parts (e.g. steering rack) that you need. Just out of interest, if you live in California, why exactly do you want a RHD car? Evil or Very Mad

I want to have a RHD RA21. It is legal to have it. It's just a pain to ship one over. Here in California if a car is 1974 or older you don't have to smog it anymore, just pay for your registration fee and get your tags in the mail. I just want to be different.

Any one interested in some clear corner lenses for '71-'74 Celica?

Contact me on ifitsuits@hotmail.com, there's more to it than just the parts you've asked for.
