Well Guys and Gals things may be changing over here so Tinas TA22 might have to go.

The Show car is a few short Months away from seeing rego again and a New Daily driver is awaiting collection.

Tinas Celica is affectionatly known as the "Pornstar" due to its Pink Leapard Print interior. (Can be removed in favour of a set of Cream/Brown trims with speaker holes in the doors)

The car is 3 Time Class Dyno Day Champion and Holds the Current club record for its class in quarter mile times as well. Note that time was done before the new engine work that saw a 15 odd Kilerwatt increase at the rear wheels. Locked diff has also been removed for smoother driving

1973 TA22 Celica.
2TG Twin Cam engine.
Twin 40mm Dellortoe Carbies
Cosworth L1 Cams (410 thou Lift)
Mildly Ported and Polished Head
1mm oversize Pistons
9.8:1 Compression
Stroked with 3T crank
Engine Fully rebuilt just under 2 years ago with bottom end Rebuild in January 2002 and Redone Head in July 2002 all in the quest for power .
Extractors and 2" Sports Exhaust

Engine produces 76 RWKW (102 RWHP) and is Daily Driven and fine in Traffic.

Undercarriage has been completely rebushed with Noelethane bushes

Front Brake Upgrade with adjustable Camber/Caster tops is also negotiable.
Vehicle also available with 2" lowered Pedders Springs on Stock Front Struts.

Pedders rear springs and Sprots Rider shocks all round.
Kmac front and Rear Sway Bars

Has Front Loader CD player that is included depending on sale amount.

Rego is Due August 18th. Should pass Pink slip no worries

Will Part out if Engine sold First !

Will consider ALL reasonable offers, Please Keep in mind alot of Money has been invested in developing this engine. Body work is Adverage at best.

Wheels and Tires are as yet undecided, There are several options available depending on the Front Brake/Strut package sold.

heh - dont worry bout those 4age's teenz - if i do what i plan - My old 2tb ( as rod knows ) will uphold the might of the 8 valve T series !!

And all From the single cam version - which will even embarress them more

My information on required parts should be in tomorrow - and now im starting to get the spark to spend back - lets just hope that it all comes together in the right way - and doesnt destroy my bank account while im at it

Rod thinks that 100rwhp is achievable from it - and i trust his judgement somewhat - though i dont see mine being stroked like yours - just running the right cam , and having the best internals i can buy around it to match the package up ..

Seeing as though my Single cam 2tb has already proven itself to produce 185 flywhweel horsies with its previous 3/4 race cam setup - im hoping for a half decent figure ( ie somewhere between 70 - 90HP at the rears )

My goal is to get 165Hp at the fly again , and on paper that should land me somewhere within that range required at the bum end of the car

Im also hoping that setup of yours goes to an enthuisast - Id buy it if i had the 3 grand required - though i have a puppy on the way ! ( yay ) and i need to get housing organised for said pup and myself ..
