Has someone filled up the radiator via the oil cap ? Shocked or dropped their caramel paddlepop down the hole when topping up the oil ? Laughing

ok, there are a few things wrong with it.

1. its upside down, you need a 4age to mount it upside down

2. the sump has been removed, you can do this, but need to top up the oil frequently

3. one of the big end caps is unbolted

4. the big end cap that has been unbolted is attatched to the crank counterweights

did it break a con rod bolt? this is the only thing i can see, apart from all the iced coffee and bad photography Very Happy

The only thing unbolted was the sump. Any misplaced bearings are due purely to normal operation of this motor.

The bearing sitting on top the counterweight was placed there by me, the other misplaced bearing is not removable - its stuck there!

The milkshake is due to rain mostly.

It's high quarity, really. Don't knock my dodgy photo techniques!

No problems , just go and purchase yourself a bottle of 'wynns instant bottom end'.. that should get it back to speed.
You'll be 4ACing again in no time! Smile

Not sure if they have release instant clutch yet.. they have instant clutch slip, which is quite similar to regular brake fluid. its just applied liberally to the clutch plate before install.. Smile

Hmm... Maybe it was something to do with the guys from Newcastle that decided to leave a nut floating around in the cam that eventually got stuck before that stuck a new head on it.

I can see the problem.. you pulled it out while it was still able to run, clanking noises mean nothing in a 4AC, its only when the starter motor cant turn the crank anymore that its stuffed Smile

Then you just need a stronger starter motor
