hey

I just managed to final finish the engine swap on my car one prob the sparky couldnt do. The check light keeps flashing code 42 meaning speed sensor cause the ae111 use electric speedo while my ae93 use's cable. so the ecu dosnt no what the speed of the car is dose anyone no how to bypass this on the ecu so it just forgets about it. thanks for any ideas

Yours may be canle spedo but chances are the speed sensor is in the sah/speedomoter Check for an out put here and use it.

this may help

you need to find out what type of pickup the speed sender had to start off with, and then try a few instrument places and see if you can get an aftermarket sender of the same type pickup and modify it then they usually just screw inline with your speedo cable

worked for a guy i work with thought it may be useful, not sure if there is an easier way out
