I HAVE HAD CONFLICTING ANSWERS..
THE QUESTION IS IS THERE A FOUR SPEED OVERDRIVE AUTO THAT WILL FIT BEHIND A 18RG TWIN CAM ENGINE IF SO WHAT MODEL TYPE ND PRICE APPROX..

You need an auto from an RA60 or RA65 Celica. It will bolt right up to any R series engine, including the 18R-G. I'm not sure if they have an electronic overdrive though; if so you may have some issues with wiring it up.

should be able to swap a 22r-e bellhousing onto an a3040le from a cressida,supra ect and get a drive plate made/modifyed

You should look for a new CAPS LOCK key while you're there... looks like yours is broken!
