I am thinking about getting it with SC14 charger.
Is it worth it to get the later model?
Is the difference big between the 2?
Thanks

as mentioned in other posts about the sc14 on a 4agze, the $$ and time involved to get a sc14 onto the gze and the hp output you may get, you would be far better of putting a turbo on it.
i know not all people want/choose turbo over the s/c, but thats how it is...

This page will tell you all about the different types of gze's available.
http://www.club4ag.com/faq%20and%20tech_pages/4A-G ZE_specs.htm
The price should be around the same price for each type. I'm in Brisbane and the importers I rang don't care about the type. They sell them all at the same price. The price from an importer should be around the $2200 to $2500 mark for a halfcut. I'm not sure of the price for just the engine, ecu and loom, etc, but it will be significantly cheaper.
As for your other questions, I don't personally think there's much of a difference between the two, but since I have an AE92 corolla, I bought the AE92 gze halfcut. If I only needed the engine I would have gone for the latest model with the least k's.
Also the gze's didn't come with the sc14 so you would have to get custom brackets to fit it. You proably already know this though.
What are you planning to do with the engine?

This maybe the most stupid thing you've heard
I am currently running 4AGE turbo, and the car is more like track car then road car
But because I drive my car daily, I was thinking to change it back to ZE and trying to get max power out of it
like SC14 charger, front mount etc. from another thread someone said you can get abt 125 RW KW
But still in the process of thinking, may keep the turbo anyway
haha

feral: Why are you unhappy with the decompressed GTE? I was considering doing the same thing.

i am happy with how it runs now, but seeing this is my intrim gte and i am useing a ge with the 9.4:1 pistons i think i would of had more fun leaving it at that c/r with lowish boost.
more torque and would even get better fuel economy (the later not as important).....
