RA28 Celcia Radiator (Preferably in Adelaide)

Hey guys,
I'm after a radiator for my RA28 Celica, as my current one is corroded, and the pipes are rusted and crumbling (not good) so I can't just get it recored, I need new tanks as well. It will be hooking up to a hi-po 18RG motor, so if anyone has one with a triple core, that would be fantastic, but I want something in very good condition and preferably in Adelaide, as I need it ASAP.
Cheers,
Tim

I don't reckion you'll need a tripple core, we didn't when we did our 18rg conversion and our's runs colder that it did with the 18rc.
It'll usually cost you around the $196 mark for a new one if you take in you're old one for an exchange.
I reckon you'd be better off going for a new one, people usually don't get rid of perfectly good radiators second hand.
If you get a new one, get them to change the angle of the in pipe so that it points slightly toward the drivers side of the car, and the same with the over flow pipe. Usually when you you order a RA28 rediator, the overflow tube has to do a u turn and the top hose points for wrong way for an 18RG thermostat housing.

Thanks for the info Steve, any idea where in Adelaide to get a new radiator? I've called a few places, but they were wanting $250-$300 just to recore my old radiator! I tried the Yellow Pages, but couldn't find too many places, anyone know a good place to go?
Cheers,
Tim

If your still looking my mates got a rolled 28 that he uses as a parts car, I'm pretty sure the radiator is in pretty good nick.

that is a massive rip off for a recore. I have paid $190 for a TA22 exchange radiator and $120 for an RA28 recore. Spending $2 on phone calls can save you $100 easy.
Are you looking in the right section of the yellow pages? AdRads shouldn't cost that much.
