So far $57 for a distributor cap for the 1GEU. Its about to be $140 for a stupid rubber seal for my sunroof panel... Sad

couldn't match it at a hardware place?
I'm not sure waht toyota would ahve wanted for the bolts I got, but cost me $1.75 for a packet of 15 from hardware house Razz

i have brought the lower lip of the sw20 94 model for $294
a front gard pannel for sw20 for $463
other small bits like a rubber for $35 very small thing also a number plate holder $65

i dont like aftermarket items when it comes to the exteior of th car as u can see!

i have been lucky in the fact that the things that have gone, i have been able to source aftermarket, or get good quality second hand
the only things that i havent been able to get, have not been available at toyota either, so i've just done without

all u lot are getting off cheap, get a mitsubishi and then you'll know what exy is.

NH pajero rh exterior mirror $585
SJ L300 2.4l radiator $1100
Turbo cordia ignitor $600
cc 1.8l ISC $650
any computer whether it be A/T or engine is like $900-1300
tailights for NM-NP pajero and challender and CE lancers are like $450-$650 EA
am/fm radio cassette player for a CC gsr is $2600
ralliart badge off the new magna is $190
dizzy cap for a TR-TS magna is $90 odd



but auto gearshift bushes on a TM-TP magna are $0.89 ea

we always have ppl go spastic at the price of their bit for a magna at like $100 and we tell them one for a...say... pajero is $500 they shut their mouths and throw down the old VISA card

a 5sp for a S14 is $4500
a transfer case for a 3000GT is close to $8000

I paid $200 for a ZZT231 Plastic Mesh for the front air dam.
$110 some little valve for the Emission control for the SA63.

$150 for a Fog Light (MA61), $90 for a spare electric antenna mast (MA61). Just to name a few...

I thought $76.80 each for hydraulic valve lifter for a 3Y was a little expensive.

I was right, the holden ones we put in were $6.50 each and they were identical!

i looked at a few more mitsu bits today, {i work in mits parts}

fog light bulb for a KH verada $85 {$10 at repco}

new power antenna for a NH pajero is $450, mast is $100 odd
W/P for a pajero is $420
timing belt for a qual cam NJ/K is $270
one for a fto mivec is $360
each plug for a mivec is $70

bumper $280
mounting bar - second hand - $120 ( ta anhar )
Mesh inserts ( brake ducts ) - $90
Mesh insert - Center - $169
mesh insert ( top , home made ) - $free
Extras - Group A celica water sprayers for heat exhanger ( soon to be my front mount waterspray kit ) $30 ( ta anhar !)

total - $689 in parts alone Quote for fit and spray - $300

Estimated total - all up - installed - just shy of a $1000 ..

I once paid $420 for a Range Rover starter motor.

I recently paid $66 to a wrecker for a used Skyline electric window motor, just so that I could get the 'ten cent' nylon gear from it to repair a 300ZX unit. Sorry about the references to Nissan.

I just ordered the last ashtray (in australia) in the rear in the center console cost me a whole $6, and 3 scuff plates O/S/R "C" pillar trim N/S/F Kcik pannel trim cost me about $25 last ones in oz and they dont make em any more trim code 1A ive had em for about 2 yrs and theyr still in plastic! Y Buy genuine when u are getting ripped off hard ?
