Has anyone out there built a 4AGTE?
I want reliability and performance but i don't want to spend $8000 i want to spend about $4000-$5000 Is it as simple as sourcing a T28 roller bearing, get a turbo manifold and dump pipe made up and purchase a aftermarket computer, rip the throttle body off my old 86kw slap it all together and she'll run good? because i'm not sure that my semi-forged pistons would take the punishment? OR would it be sensible to spend 8k and get a profesional rebuild?

serge i thought you were sellin your car?
n dont worry about reliabilty, there very good blocks, depends on how u treat it,
besides the block itself is cheap anyway

for $4000 - 5000 you would have a very nice and reliable 4agte.
they are a simple project to put together once you have done some research.
it only cost $1000 to do myself, but i already had a gze and my old ge for inlet parts etc. and i used my factory gze ECU and a 2nd hand T-25.
