as above really.

i REALLY REALLY need a 7m-ge ecu out of a mkiii supra. NOT out of the cressida (theyre different...betcha didnt know that!! No No No )

either that or i at least need an elctrical diagram from a cressida.

cheers

Ed,

Dont forget the supras ran low impedance injectors and the late cressida's are high impedance, don't want you to fry an ecu Smile

thanks steve.

gotta remember...although the supra ran low impedance injectors, they also run a resitor in series in the loom after each injector to bring total impedance up.

you wouldnt happen to know whether the late cressida (91)ecu is capable of operating the TVIS (ACIS) manifold butterfly as found in the earlier supras?? cant find it on the wiring diagram, but there are some unused pins there.... ideas??

how do you find the performance of the n/a cressida (im assuming you have one??)??

cheers
ed

You assume correctly, 142kw isn't bad for a normally aspirated car. Although I am planning on a 7mgte conversion, I have the parts but not the time at present.

as for the tvis, I think someone is pulling your leg. the Y pipe is just an air connector between the throttle body and the manifold, as far as I can see it just give some extra length and volume to the manifold, and should theoretically increase bottom end torque.

steve, no, the tvis in the supra is a reality. the ecu opens a vsv to run a butterfly in the manifold at rpms over 4200 and 2/3 throttle.

the supra 7m ecu has a pinout for it, the cressida one doesnt have a pin labled (obviously) but has spare (and functional) pins on the board.

cheers
