You could go to an auto place and buy some high temperature spray on paint and just spray them. (After taking them off first).

Mine's just painted in high temp exhast paint. I had it sand blasted before I painted it though, but if you pull 'em off & clean em up a bit with some sandpaper or a wire brush they should come up pretty good.
Although after almost a year mine could de with a touch up, but it's still a pretty good job for something straight out of a can.

Hehe, it's fun when you start your car for the first time after painting them, especially if it's also the first time you've started it after stripping the engine bay for a paint job & just installed everything back into the engine bay, and your watching everything to make sure it's all working alright, like there's no leaks & all the wirings ok, and nothings about to start melting or anything, then all of a sudden, all this thick, white smoke starts pouring off the manifold!

Actually, I shouldn't have told you about it, let you get the proper experience..... Wink

If you want to do the job properly, then you're gonna hafta shell out a few $ and get them HPC coated. Get the cam covers and whatever else you can unbolt done at the same time, make it look all lovely. Otherwise, go grab the spraycan and have a go (you DO have an extinguisher in your car, right?)

I used the (year or so) old gasket & plenty of exhaust manifold sealant, but I am planning on getting a new gasket soon, in the quest to minimize backfiring.
Hopefully a tune will sort out that problem though.

Your in sydney troyboy,

go down to Performance Coatings in guilford and talk to rob.

He does ceramic, annodising and black finish coatings for hi-temp apps.

They are pretty cost effective, $60 for 2feet of ic piping inside and out.
