Apexi Catalogue Leggo Rice Kit?

For those who don't already know, I'm whacking a 1JZGTE and A340E auto into Ye Olde MA61. I'll have a SAFC-II for minor air/fuel tidying-up (mounted above rear vision mirror) and a Blitz electronic boost controller hidden somewhere down low. I'll have plain black Autometer boost, water temp. and maybe trans temp 2" gauges to the left of the dash.
You'll see in my tech. post that I'm now grappling with options and means of getting the factory digi dash to take tacho and speedo signals off the motor & gearbox.
Another option is to spend a little more and get an Apexi RSM, which will give me rpm, kph - and also battery, rwhp, 0-100/200/400kph, speed cut lifting, speed & rev limit warning, trip meter and a bunch of other stuff. Which is all good.
But, when I visualise this unit sitting in front of the factory dash, I can't help but think it's going to look fully sick, ricey ugly and like a bad rip-off of the Apexi promo car!
Later on, I could always have a go at building a new dash unit with the RSM thing sitting flush.
What do you guys reckon? Will it look just too ugly? Or is it worth it for the functionality (not including all the added wank display stuff)?
Thanks in advance,
Justin

Anything APEX'i is very expensive, as I found out with my boost gauge. Personally I'd be just trying to sort out the factory dash, shouldn't be that hard to do.

Justin!
Sounds like your going to have a christmas tree setup of decorations!!
Scrap the temp gauge, hook up the stock dash one!!
Scrap the Blitz, buy a Celicamad boost controller!!
Install the SAFC above the cd player
my 2 cents

Yeah, I'm definitely trying for the 'stock JZA61' look - not a Xmas tree!
I necver trust factory temp guages - too many bad experiences, so will go with the Autometer.
I'm really hoping to get the factory speedo working - just need to figure out how.
SAFC's and similar sized things will fit above the rear-vision morror (got the idea from a cs.com member) - it's a great location: easy for the driver tosee but hard to see from outside the car.

Glorified piggyback? Not even that, it's just an interceptor with a few extra sensor displays.
Like knock and battery - which I would like to glance at occasionally.
If I ever get a good CD player - I'll put that in the glovebox.

Q: When are you going to be looking at knock levels?
A: On Boost
I would much prefer you to be looking where you are going
