lol certainly could be a sign but could also be alot of things Smile

compression & leak-down tests are a better indicator

Don't forget to look for bubbles in the radiator! And does it use any water? Any water in the oil? Hard to start/misses on 1 or 2 pots for a few seconds after you start it?

might pay to check the color of your oil and water, if its white and milky then you have issues..

thanks fellas

turns out the engine is fine
some idiot probably hosed up the exhaust
i got the racq report back today. the engine is the least of probs. the smoke was from rich air/fuel ratios i think.

Your very lucky,

usually moisture comming from the exhaust on a hot car(exhuast must be warm to stop confusion with condensate) it is a blown head gasket. Usually it smells sweet because of the glycol evaporating from you engine coolant.
