SOLD - AE92 Sedan with 4AGZE and Imported Levin Dash - In Fast Fours

For those of you that know me or the car - "Yes, I know I have only just completed it" but I am keen to start on the next project. Some of you may have seen this car at the start of Megacruise II last week (see photo below).
As you can see its an AE92 sedan with a 4AGZE, but I'm not going to bore you with heaps of information that is clearly visable. Basically its an 1989 model with 4AGZE engine and box. It has the imported Levin front end, brakes etc, Levin seats (front) and the levin dash has been grafted in. I believe this is only the second complete imported dash to be grafted into an Aussie corolla in Austalia, from the best of my knowledge. It also has climate control air conditioning with push button operation.
Car also has new 17 x 7 wheels, 2 inch lowered suspension, central locking alarm, pioneer stereo and speakers. All the work and parts have only been purchased in the last couple of months with receipts. All work is fully engineered with report, passed and registered with the RTA. Car currently has 11 months rego.
As to price, well I'm going to lose as does everybody that does cars up. If you are a follower of the corolla scene you would know the average going price for corolla's with 4AGZE's is around the $10,000 mark. I believe that my car is one of the better examples around and unique with the Levin imported dash conversion. People who saw this car at the megacruise all commented how clean and origianl looking this car is and that is clearly visable by the photos.
With that said, I to am now asking $9,000 no offers. So if you want a damn good car and have the cash, its yours. Email me if you want extra photos or ring on 0413 135472. kevincameron2912@hotmail.com
NOTE : The car has just been in Fast Fours magazine. No, unfortunately not as a feature car. But in the "Small Haulers" section. But, we all have to start somewhere!
NOTE: I took around 300 photos during conversion. And the car is in the Sydney (Liverpool) area.
NOTE: THE CAR HAS NOW BEEN SOLD

That's correct
Very tidy conversion and car dude. If i were in the market for a GZE i would certainly be having a look your way!
Just thought i'd add a couple of questions, just so that anyone interested might know a little more for themselves (and for me to know too)
# Which model 4a-gze is it? MAP or AFM?
# AE92 or AE101 gze?
# Is your E58 LSD?
# Is it full sik? (;
Good luck mate, certainly is a shining example.

Oz_Craig,
Thanks for the tips and defending my dash conversion. Darola - how were you the first in both places, Australia and NZ. Do you and the car live in both places????? So which is it, were you the first in Australia or NZ and as pointed out mine is the AE92 Levin dash.
The car is 4AGZE MAP, conversion came from an AE92 hence the dash, the E58 is not LSD unfortunately and "I" think its full sick. Still thinking that I should just keep it with all the time, effort and money I've put into it. But as the saying goes if "THE PRICE IS RIGHT" it will go and the new project can begin. Cheers, Kevin

Crazymax,
Thanks for the welcomed comments. As to the power, I have never put it on a dyno and as you can see (you may not know being new) that the engine is standard and very original. I believe these motors put out 123kw in standard form. This may not be the fastest car on the streets, but is very nippy and a lot of fun. All Corollas from around 1984 went to front wheel drive (sorry to all if I am wrong with that). Cheers, Kevin

Geez, i've done a conversion with these cars, and trnasplanted the whole lot from the cut to the car. The loom, the dash, climate control, CD player, the lot all in a GTi corolla. You can't even call this a conversion, it more of a engine 'change' really. I can do the job in one day now!!!
Nice car too
I think that the sedans look better than the hatches too.

EvilJack - How dare I take so long to do my conversion
I shouldn't have put so much time into it making sure it was done properly
Nilezy - I mean that nicely of course. You are obviously better than me. I'll try to be quicker on the next one.
St3ve - I still like Seca's, but I think the sedans look schmick. Cant you see your self in this little beast. The Chicks would love you, I'm just getting to old and the wife wouldn't be happy
Takai - I believe I emailed you and I will see you Friday, just give me a call when your getting close to Sydney 0413 135472.

Hey Nilezy,
Giving my self a bit of a rap, I think I did a bloody good job on the build up. If your missing your car, this ones here waiting for you to pick it up. I know you wont be disappointed and all the works already done.
As I have said, I should just keep it with all the time and effort I have put in. But I cant get the idea of a cressida out of my head. Bloody cars, why are they so addictive.
Cheers, Kevin

Shit! I just read this thread after sending you an email. If I had of read your offer before sending the email, I wouldn't have bothered. I guess it doesn't hurt to try, but
PS: The money that I spent on this car doesn't include labour, so I would have to add a couple of thousand dollars onto the costs. Thus, what it has cost me has gone up - over $15000 and you want to offer just $6000. HOW RUDE

This little beast has now been sold. But dont despair ToyMod'ers, I have now bought an MX83 Cressida. A stocker for now and most importantly, still a TOYOTA. And, I will still be attending meetings, when ever possible. A lucky guy by the name of Chris bought the Rolla and am trying to get him to join the club.
Will post some pictures of the new one ASAP. See ya's, Kevin
