To be honest I really wouldn't know where you'd get it, try various chemical companies as a start, I suppose... Thing is, I don't know how available it would be, as that stuff is kind of toxic... Laughing

Yeah i thought of the Sikaflex for windows also, but the urethane is supposed to give you better feel and make the front of the car more rigid. The only bad thing is that you feel more vibration

polyurethane resin?
hmmm ive never heard of using it with frp.

normally use polyester resin, vinyls and epoxy resins.
but without the glass its completely useless. wouldnt last very long holding a motor. it cracks and breaks easily.

Look up injection moulders in the yellow pages, or failing that polyurethane suppliers. I've bought sheet polyurethane that I' ve had milled into steering couplings and dedicated bushes too. Mind you, a polyurethane engine mount won't stiffen your car as such, other than distributing the engine vibrations.

It will stiffen indirectly, beacuse it will rely more on the engine to make the front end of the car more rigid.
i will try the sikaflex route i think, how did yours turn out feral4 ??
