The motors are not RWD, although I did get them with the intention of converting them to use in a Front Engine RWD setup.
I'm not sure what they are out of, possible late SW20 MR2 although more likely ST20X celicas. I didn't get them as half cuts, just bare motors so can't be sure (unless someone can tell me how to identify them further)
Selling them as I have started developing a gen 2 3SGE now, so I'm going to stick with that for the time being.

dude, I totally don't wanna spam your thread here, but I have to think about getting another engine probably sooner rather than later.
does the gen 3 put out more than my origional? worth dropping in? are there significant differences between them? ie, mount positioning etc?
I don't expect you to know all this and stuff, but was just thinking I would like to drop a 205 3sge in (as it seems the beams are a little exxy).
thanx man - Rob

The gen 1 3SGE from your celica will be about 100-110kw in Oz spec, the Gen 2 ones are 120kw and the Gen 3 are about 125 - 130 kw. Beams versions are better again.
Mounting points are identical, but manifolding etc is different and not interchangable. You would also need to source the correct ECU and loom.
