i've got gen2 ones (seem to be the same as gen3 to)
gen 2 is '89 - late '93

Toby,
You offered for sale, 100kw 4AGE rods and pistons - 6 rods and 4 pistons. I ageed to purchase them from you in good faith.
I have now gotten around to opening them.
You have sent me 4 x 3SGE rods, and 2 x 86kW 4AGE Rods.
The pistons are all 86kW 4AGE.
I had sent you the money in good faith prior to you shipping them.
You have not delivered the goods as described.
You have either:
1. Falsely misrepresented what you had for sale on this Forum and hence received goods by deception.
2. Did not know what you had or could not identify what you had for sale.
3. Mistakenly sent the wrong parts
I sincerely hope that you have not puposely set out to decieve as most people who post for sale and/or purchase on these forums rely on the honesty and integrity of the seller/buyer.
Toby, I request that you resolve my concerns as I have not received what you promised to deliver.
You have either ignored my personal emails or have not received them.
Either way, I was attempting to keep this between you and I so that a satisfactory settlement could be achieved.
Given your response, I have no option but to share my dissatisfaction with the www.
I hope this does not tarnish your reputation on these pages, but I am, at present, a dissatisfied customer of yours.

i find it hard to believe that it has taken you 6 months to open a box of parts i sent you!!! i think everyone opens packages immediatly they recieve them to see what they got!! (well everyone i know does)
what sort of warrenty do you think you get on second hand parts bought over the internet privatly anyway??
considering the rods & pistons came out of an aussie delivered 100kw motor with a broken crank, i find it kind of hard to believe that they are 86kw pistons AND 3sge rods. very strange combination that!!!
since you claim they are 3sge rods incidentally, what generation are they? as you must know that if you have identified thm as being that? each gen of 3sge has different rods too by the way. (as you must already know)
(fyi i have never wrecked out a 3sge motor down to the pistons/rods, only complete head/bottom end assemblies)
are you sure that in the 6 months you have had the stuff you have not accidentally mixed the parts up with some other parts from customers/race etc cars?

I bought the parts from you for the trumpets.
The rods etc were additional and yes, it has taken me six months to have a good look at them.
I am aware of caviat emptor on the web, and don't really expect a warranty, but I DO expect that the parts are as you represent.
Please provide me with a postal address for return.
I do know what an 86kw engine piston looks like.
It will be up to you if you wish to honor the original agreement.
