 [AE86 Cruise] - Saturday 7th Feburary 2004 - It Was Great Day All Thanks For Coming!

I'll be organising a cruise for Saturday 7th Of Feburary 2004 in
Sydney for those interested. Details Below:
DATE
The date is Saturday 7th February 2004
DETAILS
There will be a major stop for about 30-45 mins halfway through the afternoon. Ill be taking photos and small movies with the 2 x digi cameras im bringing. Also will be giving small prizes (winner and runner up) for the following catagories "most dodgy mod", "best in show", "drift battle mobile", "best stocker", "hachi in need of the most lovin'"
START POINT
We will be gathering at the Thornleigh RTA Carpark at 1.00PM Where we will chat, ogle at ae86's and wait for late comers until 1:30PM
ROUTE
We will head from there out to pennant hills road all the way to pearces corner (AFTER the f3 onramp) where we will turn left onto the pacific highway. we will then drive for about an hour onto our first stop...
Stops will be decided when i do a mock run on the 17th of jan, but this is the current plan SO FAR.
|UPDATE| The preview run is done and decided. i am writing the course directions up and printing a course map with directions to give out on the day.
remember people, get 98RON before you come! coz in the country they dont believe in it!

thornleigh maccas is on pennant hills road, which connects to the free way, so if we go up and turn on to the free way,and go until we see an exit at berowra, turn off there and head up so we can stop at mobil, before we head into old pac, after that its just all old pac !
thornleigh is a good place as everyone knows where it is.

damn you ae86drift, right in the middle of when im planning my engine conversion lol.  
nah its all good, might wait a bit or hurry it up so i can come cruising with all the '86 lads.  or just shotgun a seat in sir-ae86's Sprinter lol.
sounds good though, will have to get re-aquainted with the old road before hand so i know all the bumps and stuff haha.
has there been a "Sprinter exclusive" cruise like this before? if so how many cars attented?

It all depends on what time we meet at Thornleigh maccas. During the day we will be crammed in the carpark with families, kids running around off their leashes  4WD's attempting to reverse park mounting the kerb, and people that have never seen a Japanese performance car in their life
Unless we can meet somewhere near like the Hotel Ibis carpark, or even Bunnings underground carpark.

maybe we can meet the road outside thornleigh, the inside one, before the entrance of maccas, its jus a long straight road and its very easy to find. Hopefully no one will disturb us.

possibly could find someway to get to that beach near the start, or stop at one of the local shops i guess
