Thanks mate but I needed info not a comedian.

I have searched but when you dont really know much about cars its kind of hard to find exactly what you want to know, thats why I was asking, I thought maybe I would find someone that enjoys sharing their knowledge with others!!

i've seen one in an ae86 recently.

it was a 7a bottom end running with 100kw 4age head, mod inlet manifold, 100kw ecu. use a porsche 924 timing belt.

isnt the 7a-gze a bit stupid - i mean supercharging a standard 4age is pretty dumb but cinsidering the 7a is a weakend 4a it seems stupid. Also wouldnt the 7a ecu handle the new head?

i doubt anyone has run a 7age on a 7af ecu - you use the 100kw ecu!!

club4age used to have some articles on building up 7age's too by the way

You need both as it's hard to find all the parts you need for the conversion.

T-> 944 belt fits a little bit better

For the rest, you can use a the 100Kw ecu, the 7A won't run it, but best results, go Aftermarket. Several key area of attention, GE pistons won't fit straight onto 7A conrod, mod is needed. use 100Kw oil pump, it flows more! Alternator won't fit straight on the upper bracket needs mods. The oil Return on the GE head has no where to go, again, sump or block needs a return put into it, Finally, Make sure the cams are dialed in properly, with a dial indicator, otherwise the results look worse than a standard 100Kw 4AGE (this bit took me 4 weeks to solve!) veriner gears are also good for the final settings. here's one I prepared b4...
