Is that Trueno wheel from a ae86 sprinter or a more recent corolla. Just never seen one like that before, and want to know if it will fit.

if the twincam one fits the trueno one will fit, as thats what iv been running, its heaps more comfortable.

it was off the half cut, so ae92 trueno.

Oh ok well the ae82 is a direct fit. How much you want for the trueno wheel then; I found out postage should be around $8.

Edit: Hrm just wondering if that trueno wheel would need a boss kit? It looks quite flat compared to the twin cam wheel. It might not clear the indicator lever enough.

yeh thats right, the trueno one is reasonably flat, however it did clear my indicator levers and what not. tho a sprinter might be different and may hit? i dunno, but even then wouldnt be hard to make a small spacer or something

$40 and its yours

is it an early or late model rolla.

the early ones had shorter front parker/indicator combo.

Hrm ok would I be able to grab a side on photo to compare then. The stock sprinter wheel has around 2cm to the lever so if the trueno wheel is too flat wouldnt clear it.

This is confusing Laughing

Re: Wrecking red AE82 hatch (undamaged) VIC Thu, 06 November 2003 02:46 Go to previous message
The levin wheel will bolt str8 to the sprinter 'But' the horn wont work as the contact patch on the back is wider on the levin wheel and so wont touch the contact point on the sprinter steering column.
probly can be modded with a little bit of work.

unless the levin + trueno wheels are different....
