I have a KE30 Rolla and need to fit a closer ratio
gearbox for ralling purposes, is there any 'boxes that
can match the 3K or will I have to swap engines first?

the only gearboxes that will bolt up to a 3k are the k40/50 and t40/50

i believe the box you are looking for is a "hollinger" cloe ratio box... or possibly the close ration T50 that was released in KE35's....
