AE86 Questions

Whats a basic AE86 just with the stock motor etc, but in fairly decent condition worth in Adelaide? They barely every turn up in the Trading Post or classifides. And what specifics should i look for when buying?
They seem like pretty cool little cars with plenty of potential, and are a bit different too. I'm not after anything modified, becuase i'd rather do it myself than have one that has already been thrashed!!!

i think thats been in there for like 2 months i wouldnt touch it if its the 1 im thinking of, try trader there is one in there for 2800 i think

a mate bought a bone stock car with 14 inch work rims, car has a cd player and is in great cond. Price? $1000.
they are too overpriced stock in My opinion

Keep an eye on these forums and tradingpost.com.au
They come up once and a while. for some reason ae86s are cheaper in queensland.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm not in a rush to make a purchase (just some time this summer while uni is off), but what are the main things to look out for? Is there any problems (e.g. rust in certain spots, or oil leaking from somewhere specific etc) that I should look out for when buying?
