progress report Sun, 09 November 2003 06:59 Go to next message
well, to answer most of the questions I've been receiving of late, I thought I'd do a progress report on my conversion.

The car has had all of it's brakes changed, pads changed, springs & shocks are in.

Diff is there (no I don't have one spare), and just yesterday the engine and gbox were put in.

what's left: clutch pedal needs to be hooked up & installed (along with the assorted hoses & cylinder). Wiring is untouched. most of the peripherals are hanging around. Exhaust is sitting in the garage. Steering wheel is in the back seat

Estimated time to finish: 1-2 weeks, dependsing on how much I feel like working on the car after work.

Possibly not but, my G/F parents house backs on to the reserve that is just down the road from where the cars are currently sitting. mixed that with the photos of your old car (R.I.P) you posted. And the fact that at any given time of the day of night there are at least 4-6 Cressi/Supras parked in the drive front yard. It wasn't hard to work out that It was yours.
I drive past fairly regularly either in a green RA28 or a very loud Red RA28 or more recently my brothers SWB patrol.

And Gold28 told me... Razz
