Thats not nearly as bad as when i just got my new Ford and I driving to bundaberg and stopped into maccas half way to get a coffee and a smelly fish burger and the dummshit f#@k knuckle let the coffee slip out out her hand and threw it in my lap! Damm I was pissed, but they did offer to pay to get the car cleaned which they did!

Hehehe, my condolences Rod!
I know a guy who went to Maccas with his little kid, got him & himself a junoirburger meal each, and drove home. Get inside, the little kid gets stuck into his burger, the next minute he's bawling "dad, dad, there's no meat in my burger!!!"
He drives back up to maccas and the dumb bitch goes oh, I wondered where those went, sorry. We had to make up another 2 meatless burgers for the people that were waiting for them.
Hahaha, how funny's that. What sort of wierdo orders a junior burger, without meat?

Mmmmmmmmmmm McBun....
I once heard a story about a teacher who left a junior burger in their drawer at school before going on holidays, when they got back the junior burger looked exactly the same as when they left, no doubt to the large amounts of preservatives and stuff in them (or the fact that they may not even be real food!!).
And you've gotta love those pamphlets you can get which extol the health benefits of eating at McDonalds!
And how about the fact that I have never ever received a burger that looks as good as the one in the photo! Talk about misleading advertising!
aaahh this could go on and on...

I read something in teresting once. McDonalds are not allows to call their buns "buns". Buns are classified as bread, and McDonalds ones don't contain enough of the actual ingredients that constitute bread. Therefore they are McBuns!

I thought they couldn't call them "bread" or "rolls", but had to call them buns, because of the sugar & preservative content?
anyways, I know the manager of the australian supplier of maccas buns, and apparently they're not all that bad for you ... more like sweetbreads tho. and I heard if a quarter pounder didn't have pickles & onions, it'd be classified as candy?

i was in melbourne woke up extra early to get macca's for breaky drove down picked up all the goodies went back to the caravan park and unpacked all my food and found that they didn't give me any syrp or butter with my hot cakes. excuse me if i'm wrong but what are hot cakes without the syrp and butter?
i've had times where a girl has sneezed into her hand just before she gave me my change back and well i wont go on and on as i have had many incounters with those dodgy food rip offs at macca's yet although i always bitch about them and complain i just can't seem to stop going there.

I rocked up to a 24 hour maccas once at 4am ... was starving and wandered over to the counter and ordered my meal.. the response? "sorry sir, we dont serve meals between the hours of 3 and 5:30, you can wait till 5:30 and order breakfast if you like"
on a side note, I'm doing product research for maccas sometime soon (that's what unemployed people dream of.. getting paid for eating maccas. Of course, then there's the people who wouldn't eat maccas even if they were paid)

rod, if they come on with that sort of stuff where they make a mistake and apologise - demand the food for free. you are a *paying* customer and they do have a service level as such they need to keep up with.

Mc Donalds use nothing but '100% beef'. You will note that '100% beef' is in fact a company name that is registered to Mc Donalds, and in fact does not reflect the content of the burger at all. As if we didn't know anyway.

well yeah, except that guy's looking for publicity/money ...
you dont get that fat because of a fast food company, it's an entire lifestyle. plus fast food isn't addictive (anymore than smiths chips or kit kats)
whereas the basis of the smokers case was that tobacco companies denied their products contained any cancer causing substances

Whats the worst Maccas???
I reckon Sydney airport. I work down that way occassionaly and end up getting maccas around 7pm. 5 times out of 5 I had to take the food back cause it was old( They make me fresh stuff, but after complaining I think the workers have a grudge against me). They're changing the timers so they dont have to throw out the food. But if its old take it back.
Also had a friend eat from Bonnyrigg maccas. Got food poisoning . Doctor reckons it was from someone not washing they're hands after going to the toilet. Food for thought.
Seen 'em change timers at Liverpool west, sydney airport, Stocklands Wetherill Park and Five dock. Had a whinge to the managers who assured me I was mistaken or It shouldn't happen.
Oh.... and I used to work there too

My solution to this problem..... i simply avoid Maccas where i can. Those tandoori burgers were such a flop. I prefer Hungry Jacks/Burger King anyday. Anyone remember route 66? Back when i was at uni, i used to get the most delicious fast-food produced burgers ever. Those cheese burgers were the best. Too bad they closed down near my uni.

lol I keep telling you, it tasted good! better than KFC, better than burger king ... very nice (well, 3 out of 4 were great, 1 was just above average) got it thru some product testing agency... dont really know who pays $20 an hour, which wasn't bad for eating food

well, the people who made it for me were the staff at thornleigh maccas and generally they have decent food there (as far as maccas goes anyhow) I'm always wary about eating at maccas I've never been to, 'cause I've had some rank "food" from maccas before
