Hey i was wondering if you are able to get insurance when your on your L's? I heard that you can't because you a under insurance with your dad or mum etc. Is this true?

It is up to the insurance company, generally a learned falls under the same policy as the instructor, but sometimes they won't be insured at all (one dodgy company did this when i was learning to drive).
