My Paint Job *Just completed!*

well heres what ive been doing for the last 2 weeks... i thought i'd post up my first spray job up... whilist its not a perfect job im pretty happy since it's my first... ive learnt a damn lot also.
I learnt not to wipe the bonnet with wax and grease remover and not to clean the gun out with it when you have run out of thinners and you are on the last coat and paint is ready to pour in the gun....
i ended up with a golf ball surface in the small section i sprayed hahaha had to sand that all back and start again.
So here are the pics... while im sure they will attract your usual "full sick dorifto machine" etc etc.... please consider the before pic and tell me which looks better
Before
And as it is now.
My girlfriend did the masking tape work... turned out ok!

Hey Simon
Good job!!!
i like that you've gone for totally black bonnet. Is that a different shade of white to the old one? it looks a little creamer/2pak(ier)
looks better now in my opinion
how long did it take you?

aside from the loss of licences nice job simon. am currently doing my TA22 and yeah, have also learnt heaps - hi fill is your best friend for those nasty fine scratches...and wax and grease remover does NOT work on primer.
they say its all in the preparation. they are SPOT ON

since this is the case, simon is opening a backyard painting business, as you can see, his workmanship is of high standards, he charges accordingly to your vehicle and is well worth it

looks heaps better, the black corner never did it for me.
i think some black lines/panda 2 tone on the sides wouldn't go astray though.

very, very nice Mr Simon.
i didnt particularly like the black triangle either, made the car look out of proportion, but the black bonnet + grille looks awesome, nice work, congrats. the wheels suit the paint aswell.
makes it all tie in together and look tidy. gives it a more "robust" look i spose.
cheers, SS.
