Microtech engine management - what cost? Wed, 24 July 2002 17:53 Go to next message

I read in another thread that as comparing different ECU systems agains one another, cheaper Microtech ECU's should not be counted out.
No matter how much I search the net, all Microtech pages are full of tech specs - no prices anywhere.

Does anyone have even a vague feeling at what price range Microtech ignition ECU's run at?
Both types are in scope, either 2D or 3D.

Is there an alternative choice besides Microtech in this cheaper range?

Yup, i said that.

Microtech MTX8 is $1095, very cheap. It has inbuilt igniters, can run a v8 or straight 6 like mine and anything smaller. Very easy to hook up. Gets the thumbs up from me.

in the latest zoom there is a complete write up on all aftermarket ecu's available. Get a copy, its priceless.
