hey i just bought a ra65 today and im pretty much a noob towards celicas i had a ra60 before but it only lasted a couple of weeks the ra65 i bought has a fair bit of rust aound the tailgate and fuel cap and i was wondering how do i go about removing it do i just cut it back and weld it then get it resprayed? the rust doesnt look to bad on the surface except theres a biggish hole or is it just best to look for a new tail gate

depends how bad it is - rust free tail gates can be found, but they're VERY rare.
if your tailgate is rusted, I'd also recommend checking under the rubber seals around the endge of your boot (where the hatch closes on to) and also under your spare wheel. You might get an unplesant suprise

the rubber seals are gone basicly but inside everything is fine just the rust on the tailgate which i wanna get rid of
