R31 skyline wheels on AE86 etc

heard a while ago that R31 skyline wheels fit on sprinters,
checked out the spare of a friend's R31, and with the aid of a pen as a meauring device i think they would fit pretty well.
PCD seems the same (as i have heard it is) offset seems right, i meausred the backsapce (i think) by laying each wheel outside up on the ground and measuring from the ground to the mating surface.
the hole in the middle seems the same as well.
he only had 14 inch steelies, so im keen to try some alloys, hopefully they will be wide enough.
anyone using these wheels on their sprinter?
also heard from somebody that R32 GTSts use the same offset and PCD as the R31, dunno about this though.

I think R32's use five-stud.
R31's (and earlier Nissan/Datsun models for that matter) are 4x114.3.

Non-turbo R32's are 4-stud.

Yah, r32 GTS is 4x114.3, GTSt is 5x114.3. The R31 wheels do go on, but the offset and centre hole are not the same - keep that in mind

R31 wheels do fit , but the offset its no correct for the front and the tyre will rub on the inner guard a bit . Unless you find some r31 dr series rims like the ex Jim Richards skyline , they had different offsets front to back on the early cars {To cheat}, so the rear r31 rims work on the front of the sprinter with toyota struts , and then when you change the car to a nissan front end you can reuse the rims in the correct order , front to back . Or just use a 10mm spacer on the front .

R32 non-turbo, R31, R30 wheels are all 4x114.3 which is the same as AE86.
R32 wheels will not fit as it has huge offset , 30-40 offset.
R31 wheels will possibly fit, i reckon it's around 20-30 offset. So it will fit, but with very little space between the wheel and strut.
And the R31 mags look sh*t... if u don't believe they are ugly, try go here http://www.r31skylineclub.com/forum/
it's about every R31 guys there wants some R30 mags.
best option is R30 wheels, they look very nice on sprinters.
they are +25 offset, which is not bad.
I have a friend wif a set of this on his AE86 before, so i am sure it will fit.
I am always looking for a set, but they don't go cheap. 400 a set with bold tyres normally.
both R31 and R30 wheels are 15"x6". don't know about the R32.

thanks heaps for the info everyone, looks like i will have to do some real research.
if they are 6 inches wide, i dont want em anyway, as i have convinced myself that i "need" 205 wide tryes.
