I've seen that car at the Melbourne Easternats and a couple of other shows... Amazing what he's done with it but I can't help but wonder why he started with one of the gayest Celica models as the base?

Yeah it's pretty cool... It's got a huge touch screen in the dash and just about everything on the car is controllable by it... I think the guy said he wrote the program himself. The PC that controls it sits in behind the dash where the glovebox used to be. He's chopped the roof to make it convertable... Lots more... But should have started with a better looking car in the beginning.

I really don't know my Celicas but it WAS a fastback version of the one in Old School's avatar. I think. It has been a year or so since I saw it and like I said, I don't know Celicas.

i dont have the pics/article yet, but that thing was sic, it had a p3 850 or so {it was the cest at the time} running everything, massive stezza, it had 2 40gb HDD's one for the OS and 1 for media, i.e. mp3's and videos, the one for media was easily removeable for uploading, it had a 18RGEU in it with WILD cams, max power was at like 9000rpm

It's a convertable without a roof of any kind... If it rains he has to cover it with something like a tarp.

Bit of a risk If I remember correctly it has cameras for review and set up into the alarm system.
Expesive if it got any kind of water damage
