Turbo'd 20v - Sold Sun, 16 November 2003 13:27 Go to next message
I originally bought this 'unseen' off a friend of a friend as it was a bargain.

It's meant to have been built up correctly (low comp pistons etc) but that's just the word of the guy that had it before me and I haven't had the head off to take a look.
The head is clean as and the t25 looks new/rebuilt (zero forward/back play and pefectly unmarked wheels).

It needs a fair few little bits and is definately not a 'complete' engine. I've decided not to go with it, because to fit it in my little aw11 I'd need to spend a crap load (going to go a half cut option).

Would love to sell it whole but sometimes things just need to be parted Smiley =.

Pics can be seen at

Cheers
Dave

For the turbo and manifold I'd be looking at offers over $400.

Cheers

That is NOT a normal turbo!

Looks like a rebuilt & highflowed Nissan FJ20 T3, with a TO4B compressor wheel, and back cut exhaust turbine.. If you sell it for $400 with the manifold, you're mad, and someone else is getting a damn good deal for the price, but maybe not so suited to a 1.6 litre engine.

Cheers
Phil

Everything that comes with the engine is shown in the pictures at http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~wtf/20v/ (there's no flywheel on the back). Except the injectors which I have sitting in front of me Smiley =.

Looking for an offer over 1000, otherwise I'll part it up.

Cheers
Dave

Well I'm moving house this weekend so if no one wants it whole, then I'll guess I'll take it with me and go down the parting path.

I'll pm those who pm'd me about parts tomorrow (if no one shows serious interest before then on the whole thing).

I'm in Ashfield till I move, then in Ingleburn as of next week if anyone wants to check out any bits on it.

Cheers
Dave
