I have removed the cams and ended up with a bunch of shiny round plates covering i assume the springs.
How the hell do i remove them and get access to removing the springs and valves etc. This is on a 2JZGE head.

pity that you should really have numbered them, as they tend to be specific for each bucket bore (ie they all wear in to their bores independantly, and should be put back into the same bore from which they came)
following that youll need a valve spring compressor (and this time number the valves to make sure they go back in correctly)

The engine only just did go in.
But this is the spare head which im going to have some work done to over the coming few months.
Don't worry Ed, they are still in the head, along with the springs and valves, i knew i had to number them when pulling them out.

Saw "Sydney's greatest head" and got excited
Well i spose i can venture to wherever he is and have a chat, i had alternate plans, but i shall see what happens.
I am only planning on stripping the head myself. Not going to butcher it with a dremel

call rams head service, they're in windsor
send them the head without pulling it apart, put the cams back in too so they can set the clearances
dont expect any port work to be cheap though, cos this mob do all the supercars and the like....
