Hello, has anyone ever seen those turntable style plates that wheel alignment shops use. They sit under the front wheels and show in degrees the toe.
I want to purchase a set but not sure where to find them. Doesn't help when I don't even know what they are called
Cheers

Or you could do it on the cheap and use a couple of straight edges and greased plates.

or go alittle more advanced than that and strap some of those cheap laser pointers to the plate!
and when you're finished you can use them as washer wiper lights

Not that a i change it a lot, but at the moment setting up rack n pinion steering which is being designed from scratch. So during this process of setting it up i'd like to regulary adjust/check the toe. As eliminating bump steer will require changes to rack position etc and everytime I move it around toe needs to be checked again.
Dont want to have to drive it back and forth to wheel alignment shop 10 times or something before I get it right.

just set it up best you can, and then take it in, i'm sure after 3 or 4 visits they'll do it for free
just go in to a tyre/suspension shop and talk to them aobut it
they will prolly make you a deal

THe greased plates and straight edges work really well and cost bugger all. Not quite as user friendly as the fancy smancy ones that an alignment shop uses but it will get you close to the money.
