There have been people putting the Commodore V6 motor in the hilux as found in my Street Commodore Mags. But then again... This is a Toyota forum... what about adding a turbo to the 22R-E?
Cheers.

A few guys have put 1G's in 2wd hilux's. Seems to be a good motor for them. I think getting a good diff ratio is a bit more of a challenge as most of them are pretty low.

The 1UZFE has been done a few times. Phil Bradshaw has done about 4 I think. Much better than any old buick 6.
