How to remove diff centre from aus ae86?

I have decided to weld my diff as my disc to disc isnt arriving till february. So how do i go about taking the centre out?

jack the car up and place on stands
with handbrake on and in gear, undo the tailshaft bolts on the diff center and the wheel studs on the wheel.. then release handbrake and take outta gear.
take drum off, undo the 4 X 14mm bolts using a socket and extension bar by tuning the axles and placing socket and bar through the hols.
undo these and pull axles out.. if they are tight as then bolt on a spare wheel backwards and hit the rim with a hammer, this will never fail to get it out.
once youve unslotted axles on both sides (bearings need to come right out, whole axle can rest there but splines need to be out of center)
then, Undo the drainplug and drian the oil.
then undo the 12mm bolts on the centre, and thats it.. pull the center out and your done.

how many times since the LSD went in? or was that the cure??
do you break boxes?? i tend to break gearboxes, but have only had 1 unexpected diff failure.

nope never broken an LSD, but all those open diffs and lockers certainly have broken
also never broken a T50.. i baby them

Dont forget if the yoke slides out of the gearbox oil will leak out.

Its a two piece shaft with a center support
dont need to worry about that at all!!

But .. if you dont jack the diff up as opposed to the chasis you wont be able drop the tailshaft off the centre without undoing the 2 centre bolts, so put the jack under the diff housing.
