Hey All,

I am come to a dilema. Should I keep the Open Diff fitted to my MA61 (which was orginally LSD) or should I go LSD. My driving pattens are some what related to a grandpa and I don't go sideways around corners Surprised .

Where would I be able to get the LSD and what/how much should I pay for?

I have looked towards America (thanks to Norbie) but I prefer local...

Cheers.

If you have to ask this question you are probably not driving hard enough to warrent the need for one!

Nope! Sounds like you don't need one, and if you did have one, you'd never use it realistically. As for the case of not driving hard enough to need one, no, you don't have to on the street. The subject boundaries change when you start pushing the car harder be it on or off street events. Running without an LSD technically gives you better economy and longer life for tyres.

hence why the majority of cars that came optional with LSD's got the LSD box left unchecked at the dealers as most people care about boring things like economy and tyre life....

If you are looking for prices, I paid $200 for my 4.1:1 LSD 3 years ago, and then proceeded to spend $500 on having it rebuilt
