Tempe Tyres - $40 each corner...
They use the professional Guard Roller thingy... Mine came out perfect... No scratches, no peeoling paint or anything...

it would wouldnt it, because the edge is being rolled out, but it has to go up a bit too unless the metal is stretched

thats what i thought it would have to raise a bit, unless it comes out and the paint would probably crack.

I don't think that it chnages the exterior appearance at all. My understanding (and my car has rolled guards) is that it just bends up the lip inside the guard so that the tyre can occupy space previously blocked by the splash guard or wheel arch. There are probably various degrees of lipping that can be done though - maybe the more extreme efforts actually change the exterior metal??

I lipped my gaurds awhile ago with a block of wood and hammer.
Block of wood on one side gentle beating on the other, Stopped my wheels from from getting hacked by the gaurd every time I hit a pot hole or something but I wouldn't mind them being flared out a little.
