new install of accelerator cable

hey guys
what would the cost of getting a new accelerator cable installed?
my curent one has been stretched, ive tightened the buggar to all that it will allow. but the pedal still has freeplay in it before it actualy pulls the cable..
the car in question is a 96 camry V6
anyone in melbourne would know a place and cost?

why don't you do it your self?
It should be easy (unbolt old, remove, put in new!)

errm i wouldnt know where to start???
its hooked up to a cruise control system aswell...
anyone got hints and tips???

have a look at where it is hooked up to the c/control (I'm not sure how that works) if it's not too complicated just undo everything that holds it in and pull it out, then get a new or second hand one and reverse the procedure
if you really don't wont to do it I'm sure your local toyota service centre can order in the cable and replace it for you if you are willing to pay.
