just curious, how have all you boys out there with the 1ggte in your ra's do the accelerator cabling??
just curious.
i'm sure i could make it happen just wondering if there is an easy conversion for it.

i welded the top 2 inches of the pedal from my front cut to the bottom rest of my existing pedal
i had to fix a stop to the floor because the 1G has less pedal throw.

Everytime I do an engine conversion, I simply install a complete throttle and pedal assembly that fits, this is your cheapest easiest option. Look around for a suitable type of unit or PM me, I have several different types in the shed (I always keep these units from wrecked cars).

I always start with the longest cable I can find (e.g. ke30), and shorten it to suit (not hard, dont let anyone tell you it is!) Then again, now I think of it old celicas use horrible linkages (not a cable) don't they

i just put a camry peddle / cressid cable in my car its sweet just take your old peddle assembly with you to a toyota wreker and match it up i got the peddle and cable for $50

hey Andy,
the way i have mine set up is with aa ra40 pedal, bolts straight in and is not floor hinged.
....
Look i'll show you when you pick up the cable... it is simple as.
