Want to get the phone number of an engineer so that I can check that my auto -> manual will have no probs becoming legit when I do it in the next few weeks. Can anyone give me a heads up on what they expect exactly?

If your just doing a auto to manual conversion, why would it need engineering? Did that model car ever come in a manual?

Nope never came in manual.
Not real keen on a merc / bmw appearing in front of me (worst case) and then the insurance company trying to shaft me for an un-roadworthy car.
