Gents,

My heater core is stuffed, and i am not going to pay a shit load for some filthy creature to work on my car, was wondering if any has done the replacement/ removal of the dash and whether you are willing and able to help me out with my quest for warm air as my feet are starting to look like MR DEEDS.

Cheers
Mike

I have to do the same thing! Prick of a job.

I'll see if I've got the relevant sections in my factory workshop manual - if so then I'll scan and email them to you on Monday. It's not that hard to get the dash out - grab a screwdriver and start dis-assembling. Remember the black rubbery sections of the dash are also help in by clips - makes it easy to put back together but need a firm pull to get out.
The heater core is right in the center, and comes out through the top, so the whole crash pad has to come out. Give yourself a day or two....

Thanks for the info guys, and Lumpy i await your email.
I am in Miranda in NSW, was wondering if there is anyone else out there that might want to give us a hand replacing the heater core in the new year.... Maybe late Jan.
